• The Dirt Tricks Timing Chain Tensioner solves all the problems that a loose timing chain can cause in your engine.

• KTM engines since 2008 use a hydraulic tensioner for the timing. That is, the oil pressure generated by the oil pump pushes the tensioner and causes the chain to gain tension.

• The problem with hydraulic tensioners is that, when the pump loses oil pressure or the oil is very liquid due to high temperatures, this tensioner can lose strength, leaving the timing chain loose with fatal consequences.

• Dirt Tricks developed this new timing chain tensioner in a simple, effective and error-proof way.

• It works like the standard hydraulic tensioner, when it receives oil pressure, it pushes the chain to tension it, but inside, it contains a mechanical ratchet system so that, even if oil pressure is lost, it never loosens the chain.
