The AKRAPOVIČ® E-B10R8 collectors have been developed specifically for the BMW S1000XR and M1000XRallowing you to complete the Akrapovič exhaust system and obtain a noticeable improvement in performance, sound and weight reduction.
Manufactured in high quality stainless steelThese exhaust systems replace the original headers and eliminate the catalytic converter, significantly reducing exhaust system restriction. Combined with the compatible Akrapovič Slip-On muffler, they deliver a much deeper, sportier sound, as well as improved power and torque delivery across the entire rev range.
According to Akrapovič's measurements, the system achieves a maximum gain of +7.8 hp at 7,200 rpm and +8.3 Nm at 6,950 rpm, in addition to a significant weight loss of 4.4 kg (-50%) with respect to the original set.
To properly utilize the increased gas flow, Electronic management adjustment/ECU reprogramming is required after its installation.
Important: The collectors E-B10R8 are not approved for use on public roadsbecause they eliminate the original catalytic converter. They are intended for racing/track use.
