This version is manufactured in 8mm thick red HDPE / PEHDa technical material that is especially resistant to wear, impacts and frictionIts ability to absorb shocks and recover its shape makes it a particularly suitable alternative to traditional metal skid plates.

Its design provides ample protection to the chassis up to the footrests, water pump, crankcases, connecting rod and exhaust system, covering some of the most exposed areas during off-road driving.

HDPE does not generate vibrations or resonances, reduces noise from stones, and allows for better sliding over obstacles. AXP also indicates that it can be up to a 40% lighter than aluminum.
