He AXP® Adventure skid plate AX1779 It is specifically designed for the Yamaha Tenere 700 2021-2026offering comprehensive protection for demanding Adventure, Trail and Off-Road use.
It is manufactured in HDPE (high density polyethylene) 8 mm thickA material particularly well-suited for off-road use due to its ability to absorb impacts and recover its shape. Unlike metal skid plates, it doesn't generate vibrations or resonance, reduces noise from rocks, and allows for better sliding over obstacles. AXP also indicates that it can be up to a 40% lighter than equivalent aluminum protection.
Its design provides ample coverage, protecting the engine block, exhaust system, water pump, crankcases and connecting rodThe lower part incorporates an additional 8 mm reinforcement accompanied by high-density foam to increase rigidity and help absorb the strongest impacts.
At the front it incorporates a removable splash guardIt is secured with three screws, facilitating access and cleaning of the engine area. The assembly weighs approximately 3.4 kg.
The kit is delivered complete with sump guard, brackets, screws, assembly instructions and AXP sticker.
