• He SCOTTS® steering damper kit It is a performance component designed to improve the control, the stability and the security of your KTM EXC in demanding environments such as EnduroHard Enduro or rally. Thanks to its adjustable damping system and specific mounting, it offers a real upgrade to the chassis of the motorcycle.

• Sensitive feedback: thanks to the damper body built with fine tolerances, the steering feel is refined, not "usurped".

• Full adjustability: It has three independent adjustment circuits (base damping valve, high-speed valve and damping sweep) to adapt the behavior to the terrain, riding style or type of motorcycle.

Technical specifications 🔧

Type: Complete steering damper kit (includes damper + mounting bracket + link arm + hardware) or Mounting kit only (depending on variant).

External settings:

• Damping valve – factory position “maximum” for general use; for Enduro/Motocross is suggested to position 7–8 clicks from the clock end.

• High speed valve – a minimum of 1 turn from the bottom stop is recommended; adjust according to riding/terrain.

• Sweep control – both lateral positions must be equal; position “2” (12 h) is the delivery position for Enduro/Motocross.

Mounting: specific mounting brackets for triple clamp stock, including versions with rubber damping (“Rubber Sub-Mount”) for better vibration absorption.
