The HYLOSIL® 300 Series It is a professional-grade RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanising) gasket paste developed by Hylomar, designed to create high-strength, airtight seals in engines, gearboxes and all types of mechanical components subjected to high temperatures, vibrations and continuous contact with oils and coolants.
Once applied, the paste reacts with ambient humidity to form a flexible, strong, and durable silicone gasket that maintains its properties even under extreme conditions. Its excellent filling capacity allows it to seal both machined and cast surfaces, compensating for minor irregularities and preventing leaks of oil, water, coolant, or lubricants.
The 300 Series uses a curing system Acetoxy RTVIt offers rapid skin formation and high elasticity once cured. It is especially suitable for applications in automotive, motorcycle, industrial, agricultural machinery, engines, gearboxes, pumps, turbines, and industrial equipment.
Its resistance to oils, antifreeze, water and vibrations makes it an excellent alternative to conventional paper, cork or rubber gaskets in numerous applications.
