The MALOSSI Over Range MHR Next 6118154 is a complete high-performance transmission group for Yamaha T-MAX 530 and 560. It is not just a variator: it combines the Multivar 2000 MHR Next with Ventilvar half-pulley, larger diameter Torque Driver and Torsion Controller to significantly expand the operating range of the transmission.
The Torque Driver It uses a mobile pulley with a larger diameter than the original, allowing for superior transmission development. Malossi uses specific materials and a thermochemical treatment to increase surface hardness and wear resistance. IMPORTANT ABOUT ASSEMBLY
Malossi expressly indicates that when installing the Over Range the washer/shim supplied with the Multivar variator should NOT be mounted.
If that washer is installed, the belt can hit the crankcase. This point is specifically indicated by Malossi in the instructions/FAQ of reference 6118154.
